Our hood is wired up, so we have lights on our fancy new range!
I was so pumped about the range in my earlier post that I forgot to mention that we got our washer and dryer hooked up again. Being able to do laundry at home is another one of those things that people take for granted. (Hmm, I think I’m going to have to do a post on that theme.)
Congratulations, I am so envious of your beautiful 6 burner with grill and hood Thermador stove and oven, convection on the left? The visiting soon possibilites become even more tempting.

Hey, Sylvia! Glad you stopped by. Actually, the oven on the left is conventional (bake/broil) only. The larger one on the right can do convection, bake/broil, and self-clean.
We had a blast over the holidays! We took a break from working on the house since we had a working kitchen, and we spent almost the whole time “testing” the ovens, range, and grill. Our tests included bread, cookies, cakes, pies, roasts, stir-fry, grilled burgers, Tabasco chicken, among other things. Tonight I’m making General Tso’s chicken.
